Government Shutdown & why Obmacare is the Apocalypse

You may have heard Michelle Bachman proclaim that Obamacare is the sign of the Apocalypse over the last 3 weeks. And a recent Reuters article clearly explained just what the F$%# is going on in the minds of the far right wing of the republican party. Basically it boils down to they see their culture their very way of life under attack. The religious right in this country sees America becoming less Christian, less white, less conservative, etc. As an Atheist I applaud this shift but believe me this in no is the death blow to the Tea Party, the crazy is here to stay for quite some time before they are exhausted and just give up. And with the newly released news from the Biblical Scholar about to tell the world that the Romans invented Jesus Christ to squash a Jewish rebellion all but guarantees the American Taliban as I like to refer to them as are just going to scream louder, fight harder and disrupt American society as well as global economy/society even more. Strange, maddening and sometimes frightening times we live in.

After the Republican/TeaP. orchestrated shut down, next move is the Impeachment of President Obama.

I would bet good money on that being their next move.

They're like squalling toddlers--if they can't control America, nobody will. Ugh, even bleaker: it's the same behavior you see in a scorned lover who kills their ex.

I don't think that's going to happen, but if it would just make Obama stronger. The polls show that the public has turned on the Tea Party.

At least if they try to impeach the president, they can't be up to any other mischief.

Living through an impeachment (Clinton) and threats of it to subsequent presidents, I've never seen a constructive rationale drive the process. It's always (recently) been about "conservative values" (hatefully executed), or just plain, low road politics. Today's Tea Party is more about causing anger and dysfunction than helping the real world work. They're out to destroy a lot more than tea, now.
