Why do they take it so personally?

The title explains it all really. Why do some theists seem to take it so personally when you say you don't believe in not just their god, but any god? It just seems so silly...Continue

The Man Next to Me is Made of Staw... and His Arguments Suck

Tonight I started a discussion with my religious friend about immortality. I was interested in talking about the problems it would pose, such as population ect, and the solutions and products of those solutions. The conversation soon sidetracked.

He isn't a science guy, and over the next few days, he told his science-minded friend, Will, (whose also my friend) about our discussion. This wasn't a big deal, I don't really care who he tells about it, it's not a huge secret.

Anyways, we all went out for dinner tonight, as kind of a last hurrah since I'm leaving for college and he's got another… Continue
