1000 mile run

A lot of times new runners start out their running "career" blindly. With all the information available, it can be difficult to know what is most important in running for beginners. Running is a fun, natural, healthy activity but it does take some knowledge and forethought to run without getting injured.

In short, this group has alot of information on how to run correctly, and get you on the right path!

Also I started a 1000 (With 642.76 miles completed) mile Atheist run for anyone that has the Nike + system. Even if you don't have the nike + system you can still post your run's here in the group! If you have any questions let me know!

Morgan Matthew~

Trust me its so worth getting the Nike plus system! Let me know if you have any questions. Join the Atheist Running group guys :D

This is my Runs a few days ago The system makes it fun again to run!

I mean I guess you could but there is no real way to track them without nike plus

Oh, yeah, I don't use Nike+ so if we do any challenges can we do it without requiring Nike+?

Thanks!

Thanks to scadilla for the group logo! I think challenges are great, not sure how to set them up. Morgan, feel free to tell me how to do this or set it up yourself. I'm a very steady runner and I'm a coach for Team in Training, the fundraising/training program for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thanks for joining the group!

sounds good Scadilla. You would have to PM Marshall to add the Pic since he created the group. If he does not respond just PM me and I can take over the group.

Yeah, I love racquetball. I especially like beating my bro since he thinks he's the top dawg. Pfft, I showed him!

Hey, I'm gonna start running this weekend. You wanna start a small challenge in October, Morgan? Something small, like 15 miles or something, just to break me in again.

Hey that's a good idea Scadilla about the holes in your shoes to put the pod into :) It's good to know you play Rball as well. I play every other day now. It's probably my new favorite sport to play!

My Nikes have holes on the sides already, haha. I've been using them for racquetball, but they still work. I'm thrifty like that.

Hey Yeah I am going to prob get some nike plus shoes soon!
Comment by Scadilla on September 21, 2008 at 4:28pm
Man, I haven't ran in like 2 years. Ever since I got a bad case of ITB. I'm better now though. My Nike+ receiver has been collecting dust. I might start training and join one of your challenges, Morgan.
