I was a good athlete all my life, multi time state champ wrestler, Running back, great skier, but I never could run distance. After the mile it was always tough for me. I ran 5 miles once in my life to make weight in wrestling and hated it. Today I'm 35 and run 5 miles every other to everyday. I have a feeling if I pushed it I could run 10 miles. What gives? is it age or reckless alcoholism that feeds endurance? Has anyone else experienced this?
