I now endorse Donald Trump for POTUS...Here is why...

When I first heard that Donald Trump was running for President I laughed hysterically, rolled my eyes and thought to myself, "Whatever."

I have grown restless and maddened to a point of rage that he is STILL in the running. Could he end up being the shredding machine of the GOP? I hope so!!!

Could his running for President be a good thing for America in the long run for that reason?

To be honest I was REALLY pondering this today. After a lengthy debate with myself, I came to the conclusion that I think that Donald Trump's running for President IS the best thing that could have happened to our nation.

Let me explain.

He has exposed America for what we truly are. Not all of us. But enough of us to make a difference. We are bigoted, racist, intolerant, abusive, chauvinistic, cowardly, uneducated assholes who have come to think the world revolves around reality TV, and TMZ. We are a nation of imbeciles and we have become apathetic to our loss of touch with reality. We lack compassion and understanding. We do not give a shit about each other. We are not prepared for the many threats that loom to destroy us because we are stupid. One could make the case that it is religion that is holding us back but I beg to differ. I think it goes beyond that. I think we are spoiled rotten little brats and we deserve to be sunk to the bottom of every and any list that measures how great of a nation we are compared to the rest of the world. We believe that we are something special, when really we are just one big fucking abusive nation that likes to play with its guns and other toys, and the hell with personal responsibility. We think we are absolved from answering to anyone.

Maybe Trump running for President and WINNING would be the best thing for the world. He would represent what America has become. A covert Nazi Germany in the making. A nation of haves and haves-nots. A nation that is destroying everything we put our hands on, especially our own planet, while we continue to deny climate change saying "we didn't do it." Is that not the mentality of a 5 year old?...well there you have it then.

Donald Trump and America were made for one another. So what are you all waiting for? Let's make America great again.

We deserve what's coming to us if we continue to endorse this asshole. Mark my words.

America is NOT the greatest nation on earth. We just want to think we are.

@Dale lol exactly. The mere fact that we basically have tweedle dee and tweedle dum as GOP options says something. We the American people are the ones who put up with it. We play into it and participate in the drama. It is mob mentality on acid.

I think the fact that Donald Trump even got this far says something about US as a nation. It is a very disturbing reality.

I have grown weary and tired of the same ignorant arguments as to why people support Trump. It proves (honestly) how out of touch with reality we are as a country and how little we actually know about our own government. We do not deserve to be the so-called "leader of the free world anymore." We have not taken pride in informing ourselves and actually PARTICIPATING in our government, which is how it is supposed to work. That level of patriotism died with my grandparent's generation...unfortunately...
A quote from a Trump supporter:

“I'm a young guy who is immature, a bit antisocial, and with no plans for kids or a wife ever. At some level, I don’t really care how things go with America as long as it’s fun to watch.”

WOW Belle, we should make you an honary Dutch Socialist !

Unfortunately wishing Trumpy on america also rather forces him on the rest of this poor benighted world. He is clearly a narcissistic, bullying, emotionally immature ass-hat BUT he is a narcissistic, bullying emotionally immature ass-hat with access to by far the biggest and second most violent military machine in the world.

I am very much afraid that the next presidential election in the USA amounts to the opening of Pandora's boc, no matter whi gets in.

I'm thinking this Trump circus is making y'all a too worried about the sky falling. Hillary may have some suspicious history, but imo no more than most politicians on the world stage. I believe she (and Obama) cares about USA and world (as does Bernie), and I even believe that Cruz cares about USA (albeit very misguidedly).

One day we might actually get beyond choosing between two or a few evils. But other than Trump or Cruz in the picture, this election seems no scarier than most other elections, especially the one that brought us Bush II (which most people are beginning to understand only 10 years after the fact). (Whoops, did I just admit I can't predict to 10 years from now?)

Oh I am sure they all care about the USA ! USA ! USA !

What troubles me is the lack of care they show the rest of the word in their efforts to show the great American public just how much they care about the good ole US of A and how many (other people's) lives they are willing to expend to show how much they care !

I agree, plus of course they care about God over humanity. (I wouldn't mind if Bernie got elected, but I don't think he could win against a Trumped up capitalism platform.)

I do not ACTUALLY want him to win. A bit of evil satire to prove a point - how utterly pathetic the US is behaving
