Comment by Robert Karp on August 15, 2011 at 9:18am A) Those principles are not judeo-christian they are universal and secular. B) Notice happy-go-lucky father-know-it-all doesn't say you must respect all religions and non-religions. He leaves us out. Shocker. Pardon me while I go reverse digest my breakfast.

Comment by james d on August 15, 2011 at 11:52am perhaps 'intolerance' is the new 'leaving in droves' thought in a new, hateful form.. damned atheists preaching truth and setting captives free from bondage to hate and intolerance.. oh, wait, that is a bad word too!! sigh, i can't seem to get it right...
Comment by justin gold on August 15, 2011 at 3:15pm Of course it is on the rise"where did it come from?try since sept 11,when the" War on Terror" was announced,And since then all Muslims have been tarred with the same brush,e.g where the old mosque was near the twin towers, when it got out that they would be building a new one the people pounced on it!without even thinking if one was there before the terrorist attack, and i might add the most religious intolerance is from the religious themselves like the people at fox news, good ole right wingers!
Comment by Jnitro on August 15, 2011 at 4:51pm I think their spinning skepticism into intolerance and harassment.
Comment by Rick on August 15, 2011 at 4:52pm Religious intolerance… I wonder if that’s anything like lactose intolerance? Religion turns my stomach just as much as dairy products. Is there a pill to alleviate it?
I wonder what they mean by intolerance? At least to me, it seem most intolerance comes from religious people. And why do the Christians always act like they are being pick on? Why do I have to move from tolerance to respect? What's next, are they going to say we have to respect creationism?
Comment by Heather Spoonheim on August 15, 2011 at 11:11pm How many abused theists are minority theists being abused by majority theists?
