"You gotta thank the Lerd for that split second decision"

What a jackass. I guess the Lerd was a little late helping the others think fast enough to escape his latest act. He saved that mom and child just because he likes to be thanked.

She was very classy about it too!

I thought her response was spectacular . It takes courage to openly state disbelief in absurd fairy tales smack dab in the middle of Jesus and meth country . Wolf Blitzer isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer . I saw him get absolutely destroyed on Jeopardy a few months back , answering even brutally simple questions incorrectly .

That's great!  We were watching some coverage of this last night, and it annoyed me so much to keep hearing people say that they were blessed by God in their survival.

So God was on your side, but not on the side of any of those that died (including school children)?

This is worse than sports players who claim they won because God was helping them.

Ray - RE: "It takes courage to openly state disbelief in absurd fairy tales smack dab in the middle of Jesus and meth country."

Moore is only 12 miles from OU - you'll find more enlightened people in that area, than any other part of the state.

Let's see, what's the cash value of sending "prayers"? Is that like boxtops or something of value?

True story - near here, is a church, named - believe it or not - The Cowboy Church. It burned down last Spring. When interviewed on TV, a lady from the congregation explained that god realized the congregation had grown too big for the church, and this was his way of getting a bigger church.

I may not have the vast imagination of a god, but even I can think of better ways of getting the message across.
