Sorry, I just don't buy the argument. Faith is not a "force of nature" that all of humanity shares. I don't and I'm better off for it. And we are not born with it, we are indoctrinated into it. There's no such thing as a Christian baby or a Muslim baby or any of the other thousands of religions...

I see these "happy-get-along-with everyone rainbow atheists" way to often. They're too afraid of what others might think or say about them to speak whats really on their mind.

Respect religion? No thanks. Seriously, I'm supposed to respect someone's outrageous beliefs when there's not a shred of evidence for them? That's bullcrap.

You know what I respect - reason. Reason, logic, science etc... This guy thinks "faith" is just part of the human condition. No it's not! It may have been in our primitive past. It may have even served a purpose in the survival of the human race. But I think we've outrgrown faith. Or you could say, faith has outgrown it's usefulness. I think people are ready for the cold hard truth. We're alone. There's no magic sky daddy watching you and we only get one life - so make the most of it.
