What if Starbucks Marketed Like a Church? A Parable.
Javalleuah! Love it.
Coffee is good all the time, and all the time coffee is good!
This made me laugh, a lot. It was obviously made by Christians, which I think makes it funnier because there were so many little Christian culture digs in it. :D
Culturally strategic church, eh?
I get a kick out of these kind of parodies of Christians made BY Christians. It's like they know what they're doing is ridiculous, and they should do something differently--but I don't think they will! Instead of changing how they operate, Christians, especially at these mega-churches, will always make parodies of themselves and critiques and then laugh at them and not change anything! It's very strange.
I've only been to one church like that, and it was pretty damn sickening. Fun to play "spot the hypocrite" though. I grew up going to primitive baptist churches, and as stupid as their tripe was, at least they greeted you properly when you came in the door.
