He's delusional if he thinks he's going to be set free. Claiming to be God isn't going to help that either, neither is giving a rant that supposedly from God either.

Ya they let people hide behind freedom of religion enough already . Law before religion please.

This case shows once again how we are different than the Islamic world - in the Islamic world, girls as young as 9 can be forced into marriage (albeit rare) but it definitely does happen esp. as you approach the age of 12,13,14...it shows that we do not allow religious excuses to hamper on the law of man...the law of a nation...the law of humanity...the law of human rights...people must never forget that.

The west has had centuries to evolve culture past religion - and religion is still an anchor to us.
