Voices of Reason -- Sam Harris: The Moral Landscape

Questions of good and evil, and right and wrong, are commonly thought unanswerable by science. But in his new book "The Moral Landscape: How Science Can Determine Human Values," Sam Harris argues that science can -- and should -- be an authority on moral issues, shaping human values and setting out what constitutes a good life.

The Center for Inquiry in New York City hosted Harris for a public lecture about his new book on Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m., at the New York Society for Ethical Culture. Question-and-answer and book signing sessions followed.

I was at his public lecture at The Great Hall in Cooper Union! That was awesome.
