This is another old video, aka a "blast from the past," from my archives made on October 22nd, 2011, a day after Harold Camping was wrong a second time on when the world was ending (he was wrong initially on May 21st, 2011, 5 months before this video was originally uploaded). This is a humorous video which was made in response to Camping getting it wrong a second time, and it could also apply to other times where religious folks got the date of the end of the world wrong. It's also fitting that this is being reuploaded exactly 3 years after Camping got it wrong on May 21st, 2011, only to change his mind and say, "Weeeeellll, we're a little off." The most important point in discussions on religion is that those on the Christian side, regardless of how they practice their faith, still have the burden of proof when presenting why they believe what they believe.

Part 1 of this series (if you haven’t seen it yet!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qC_e99nTH98

References/Sources:

Jefferson Bethke – “Top 4 Myths About The Christmas Story | Jefferson Bethke”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWmFOyi9rJU
Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy (2014). “No True Scotsman Fallacy.” Fallacies
http://www.iep.utm.edu/fallacy/#NoTrueScotsman
TheraminTrees – No True Scotsman
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HJrAaGJudw
The Thinking Atheist (2014). “The Nativity Story.” Bible Contradictions.
http://www.thethinkingatheist.com/page/bible-contradictions#NativityStory

Tags: “Fundies, Fakes, & Other So-Called Christians”, “Fundies, Fakes, & Other So Called Christians | Jefferson Bethke”, "Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus", Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus || Spoken Word, Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus, Jefferson Bethke, bball1989, Jefferson Bethke video response, Why I Hate Religion, Jesus, no true Scotsman, no true Scotsman fallacy, having your cake and eating it too, Why I Hate Religion But Love Reality, atheism, atheist, Jesus is greater than religion, word, poetry, poem, spoken word, Jesus Christ, religious criticism, religion, God, Gods, deity, skepticism, skeptic, messiah, fundamentalism, fundamentalist, fundamentalists, fake Christians, fake Christianity, criticism of religion, criticism of Christianity, Christianity, Christian, Christian faith, Christian denominations, Bible, Holy Bible, The Fantastic Skeptic, EducationIsCool

FOLLOW ME:
Twitter: https://twitter.com/EducationIsC00L
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eicyoutube
Tumblr: http://educationiscool.tumblr.com/ Welcome to Jesusland (Part 16) - How Did Bill O'Reilly Get Here? tag:www.thinkatheist.com,2014-04-02:1982180:Video:1446532 2014-04-02T03:40:23.664Z EducationIsCool http://www.thinkatheist.com/profile/EducationIsCool

Video response to Bill O'Reilly and his video, "Where did it all come from?" which you can watch here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyHzhtARf8M

This video is for educational/commentary purposes and the use of the clips/images within it fall under the FAIR USE clause under…

Video response to Bill O'Reilly and his video, "Where did it all come from?" which you can watch here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyHzhtARf8M

This video is for educational/commentary purposes and the use of the clips/images within it fall under the FAIR USE clause under section 107 of copyright law. Yes, this video was done in 2011 in response to Bill O'Reilly's frankly hilarious response to a question about the tides "going in and going out." Would it hurt him to actually look this stuff up instead of shouting down his guests? I admit, at the time this video first came out, I could have done a better job making points against O'Reilly by going further on research regarding the origin of the Moon, but I'm surprised at the evolution of my video making process from three years ago to today. To this day, I wonder if O'Reilly will ever drop the whole "tide goes in, tide goes out" talking point.

References:
Belbruno, Edward and Gott III, J. Richard. 2005. Seriously, has it really come down to this? Theists can't argue cohesively on the internet so they resort to petty tactics like this? I'm not a psychologist in any way (and neither is Christian the Christian), but it's funny how this guy acts like an armchair psychologist in a smug matter by slandering an entire group of people just because he has a disagreement with them on religion. In this video, I try to address his claims within the video as well as point out where he's cherry-picking.

References/Sources:
Bering, Jesse M. (2002).
