The people behind the protest? Family Security Matters. They even bused in children for the event. How disgusting.<br /> <br /> Note; I don't get into this, but I suspect that since the Port Authority (in charge of Ground zero site) walked away from the land-swap deal, that the St. Nicholas isn't exactly upset that they're being used to drum up resentment against the Mosque at 51 Park Place.<br /> Guess who ends up footing the bill for a Church that is bigger than the Ground Zero Memorial if they get their way?<br /> <br /> That's right, you - the tax payer.<br /> <br /> I'm also not suggesting that FSM is behind ALL the nuttery out there. But they've certainly got the funding to do quite a bit of damage.<br /> <br /> You want to oppose Islam, fine.<br /> <br /> But be aware that a huge amount of the crap in the media is probably bullshit, considering just about every fact claimed by the Anti-Mosque group has been thoroughly debunked.<br /> <br /> Because I don't see why we should have to pay for a Church just because a bunch of nut jobs are jumping on the bullshit bandwagon.
