I love the way Tony Perkins keeps saying "the evidence shows". Of course the evidence shows what you want it to show when you've made up all the "evidence"!!

Hilarious that Perkins refers to the "evidence." Here in California with the Prop 8 trial, the anti-same-sex marriage folks had ample opportunity to produce "evidence" to prove why society needs to discriminate against gays and lesbians. Their "evidence" was so bad, especially after the anti-Prop 8 attorneys deposed their "experts" before the trial, that the pro-Prop 8 attorneys didn't call their "experts" as witnesses in the trial. The anti-Prop 8 attorneys then introduced the depositions to show how nonexistent the "evidence" is for people like Perkins.

Perkins was kind of being ambushed though and the things he said twisted.  Not a great example of reasoned discussion, just people trying to produce TV thats got spark.
