The truth-seeking process of deconversion

This is an absolutely excellent video series from a 28 year old man who used to be a pentacostal christian, and a firm believer. This first video is of him explaining his christian life, and then he moves on to explain, step by step, how his deconversion happened in his mind as he was seeking higher knowledge. The entire series is quite lengthy, but he does an excellent job with imagery and music. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Oh, and comments are appriciated from anyone who takes the time to get through this series. It's actually not complete yet, but it's almost there. The deconversion part of the story is complete though. Enjoy!

If you have watched this embedded video then you'll want to start on "2.0 Deconversion" and work your way forward.

Thank you very much! I have a very clingy girlfriend hanging on me right now, but I will watch later when my insomnia rolls in and she is fast asleep

This series is so far really enjoyable, I like how in depth the man goes. My only qualms is the slow pace he speaks and unwavering tone. Part 2.3 things started really gaining momentum, touched me personally even. I feel like I know the narrator, his in depth recitation of his de-conversion is oddly moving. I recommend anyone looking for similar material to give this series a watch, I am now addicted and will see this through. Currently and anxiously about to watch 2.4!

Watched the entire series last night. Very insightful and right on the mark. I like how he was deconverted by his desire to know more and to better understand. I truly believe that more people could be 'won over' to atheism by reverence and compassion than by ridicule and defiance. (That is what worked for me.) For the most part, religious folks are seeking goodness and righteousness and already assign Atheism as its antithesis. Deconversion seems more likely when it is comes as growth above and beyond what the Bible has to offer as truth, morality, and honest representation. Excellent video series.
