"A fact" my ass. This video has "Creationist lies" written all over it.
Actually reminds me of the stuff i see from Scientology. I can't stand when they state these bullshit claims as "scientific". AUGHUAHUGHUH, it's like watching someone club kittens to death.

What I wonder is: who pays for making this drivel, and why?

thought you guys were freethinkers. saddens me that we can not talk about this or that you wont explain why you feel this way about it

The shear number of things that need to be addressed is mind boggling, but I respect that you want to hear a critical analysis of the ideas presented and will do my best to provide one. Just give me a bit to construct it properly :)

I am a scientist. Analyzing situations is what I do but sometimes I like to hear from other sources just to get an objective opinion ,so thank you :)

You do know Newton was mad as a hatter, I assume. Brilliant but crazy.

The universe is an idea in the mind of God, was suggested two hundred years ago by Barkley (I think) but like De Carte he is ignoring all of the "background reality" De Carte didn't take into account the language by which he was reasoning, French and Latin, he didn't take into account the preexisting concepts that had to exist for him to make his deduction "cogito ergo sum". Even if the brain does "contain a virtual copy of the universe, there is a reality outside of the brain that exists to send those impulses to the eyes, even in the film they talk about the Photons entering the eye to initiate the signal to the occipital lobe. To deny the reality of the origin of the sensation (ie. the universe) is a bit bizarre.

To assume that all of our sense organs, which evolved to function in the reality of the universe, are just a dream is a bit much to swallow, don't you think?
