Did the blokes have their hand over their crotch? - these women are also in the 'nutjob' camp. I am surprised anybody stuck it out - pretends to philosophy - exactly - women also condemn in no uncertain terms these loony tunes. It's like any fundamentalist group, we have to know they are out there.  They are dangerous and destructive - and do the feminist cause, great harm. Besides, without men, who is going to undo the jars?

Unfortunately a lot of the women in that class probably consider feminism a big enough issue--and want to be involved.  And this prof is teaching them that to be involved, and to do it right, they must be radicals.  I'd bet at least one of the women in that class at least bought it hook, line and sinker.  It may be a religious right complaint, but that doesn't mean it is not sometimes true that universities are used as recruiting grounds for radical nuttery.

Possible. There was was some mention during class time, that if you wanted to pass, you must atleast give lip service to ideology. I did so grudingly, down deep I support basic feminist ideals, but I see nutty also.

It is unclear if I still need to worry about the prof. I found that she is linked to my FB page via another group I am connected to... ;p).

Or build the horse barn for a gifted horse?

After many minutes lost arguing about basic construction methods and design issues, we started building the barn today!
