A perfect example of why am I am openly an anti-theist. That a young girl should suffer in her education and through bullying because of her lack of belief in a particular version of a particular god. Disgusting....

I love that this girl is so very strong inside despite the tears. She is at war and she is willing to take on the cost of that battle. I am stunned to see the unhidden and right out in the open, bigoted and one sidedness of that entire community towards a little girl. What happened to love thy neighbor? Such deplorable behavior from people who sit so high up on the horse that us common folk can't even see the bottoms of their stirrups. It's just one more shining example of why I am thrilled at the fact that I did not fall for the brainwashing as a child by the church. I would be appalled at the way I was acting if I was any one of them. The hipocracy of religion is enough to make me sick and the girl who has to suffer such direct and disgusting insults and unnecessary pain because of it is enough to make me want to stand up and fight back. This s%#t is not acceptable.

Another sad example of Christians not following their alleged savior. What happened to "love your neighbor" and all that stuff?

It's horrible how these people treat her. I feel bad that I can't do anything to help. I'm proud of her.

 

Most of the Christians I meet don't act this way. I'm openly atheist at my college and people don't treat me any different. My high school wasn't religiously motivated any one way either. I think this type of thing depends on where you live.
