The Most IMPORTANT Video You'll Ever See (part 1 of 8)

1.8 million views for an old codger giving a lecture about arithmetic? What's going on? You'll just have to watch to see what's so damn amazing about what he (Albert Bartlett) has to say.

I introduce this video to my students as "Perhaps the most boring video you'll ever see, and definitely the most important." But then again, after watching it most said that if you followed along with what the presenter (a professor emeritus of Physics at Univ of Colorado-Boulder) is saying, it's quite easy to pay attention, because it is so damn compelling.

Don't be disillusioned by the dull beginning, keep watching. The message is clear and riveting.

Fascinating. Thank you for the insight on the logarithmic growth. I learned it in school but wasn't quite aware of the scale of the situation.

Interesting. Solely this, can convince me of the dangers of global warming, economic and financial crisis.

Interesting that I just saw a news clip that says that China might be relaxing it's one child policy in the near future... Now that's a birth explosion in the making.

Still too many people no matter how you cut it.... But it's good that we are not doubling in population every FORTY years.

Overpopulation, one of the reasons I'm considering not having kids. Cool Video Sydni, thanks for sharing.
