I was surprised to find very few places where the math of Noah's flood was discussed, so I made this video to illustrate the scale of what the bible describe...
Very good video! But you failed to calculate the extra space given for smaller animals to sit in the MOUTHS of the larger ones. I am sure a few hippos could hold a few chickens and mice :D :D :D
Perhaps you're already aware of the kinds of wacky objections you'd get from the Kent Hovinds of the world but I'll repeat a couple of them just for laughs.
They'd claim that the great mountain ranges, such as the Himalayas, didn't exist before the flood but, rather, were pushed up by the great weight of the flood water. If so, a bit less water would be required. (Never mind that we know that Mount Everest is about 60 million years old.)
They'd also reduce the number of animals the Ark would need to carry by insisting on the biblical term "kinds" rather than counting species. So, for example, not every species of deer would necessarily need to be saved, just one to represent the "kind", a term that is sufficiently vague to allow the biblical literalists to shape it to suit their needs where ever needed. Mind you, that would require some really, really fast evolution in the 4000 or so years since the flood is supposed to have occurred but I suppose they'd rather believe in that than believe that the whole thing is a mere story that the Hebrews borrowed from the Sumerians.
Kent Hovind, oh man, I laughed so hard about him it's embarrassing. You have to listen to Irreligiosophy if you didn't already. Episodes 47, 96 and 97 are about his "doctoral dissertation."
(They have stuff about "the flood" too, but I fear Kent Hovind will be the death of me as I suffocate in a laughing stupor.")
The animal part made me smile, but it didn't take into consideration that 7 of some species were supposedly taken onto the ark, which means for even less space per animal! I hate to say it, but also, at the time of the flood (depending on when you calculate the flood took place) the continents may have been different, therefore altering slightly the amount of water needed to flood the mountains. Not trying to prove the video wrong, because it's still impossible, just a few thoughts.

When you drink water, how is it distributed around the body?
