'The Hitch'- Christopher Hitchens documentary

Please spread the word if you enjoyed this doc!

Indie-documentary (well it's just me really) about author and polemicist Christopher Hitchens. I hope you enjoy this little film of the clips, speeches, and thoughts that made me cherish 'The Hitch'.

Authors note:

I was looking for a documentary about The Hitch to watch but
I could never find one. I waited and waited. Finally I figured:
"Why don't I just make one?". That was the inspiration for this project.
I did not make it to gain financially as I do not own most of the
footage used.

I simply wanted to in my own small way, further the legacy of Christopher Hitchens.

Thanks for watching.

One of the things that facinate me about Hitchens, is that when he speaks, even if everyone in audience hates him, They shut up and listen to him. And He can literally tell them why they're wrong, and then insult them, and they have nothing to come back with. And, then he can speak with such beauty and clarity that he puts the entire world into perspective. I kinda hate that I never had a chance to meet him.

So, I have to say, that on the off chance that we're wrong, and there is some sort of afterlife, I don't care which side I end up on, I want to go where Hitch went, because that's apparently where the best of humanity ends up. Hitch, Though I never knew you, and I'm sure many share this view, You where a great teacher and inspiration to me. Thank you for truly living your life, because you have marked the way for others to do the same.

WOW, I didn't realize this was done by someone from TA! I found it on Top Documentaries, and I watched it over the weekend. It is an OUTSTANDING tribute to Hitch.

You may have a future in documentary film making. Seriously.
