Comment by Skycomet the Fallen Angel on April 3, 2011 at 5:44pm Jesus is like Ronald McDonald or all those cute little Kellogg's cereal critters, he's just a 2- dimensionaly charming corporate logo, used to push a product [in this case faith] and brand loyalty [in this case to a particular church].
However, unlike Ronald or the little cartoon animals, Jesus has a strange quality about him. He seems to have a "Narcissus" effect on his followers.
I base this off of the old Greek myth of Narcissus, the man who fell in love with his reflection... whom he mistook for a beautiful woman.
Similarly, Christians are confusing their reflections with Jesus. He is a mirror image of whatever they think and believe.
