Have scientists discovered the Higgs Boson?

Physicists may be sill working on it, but regardless, finding the Higgs Boson would have major implications for particle physics.

It's not been conclusivly found yet but 2 independent experiments (not related) found anomolies that could point to the Higgs Boson, they actually managed to agree on it's mass. Personally I object to the name "The God Particle". Especially when the name is derived from a paper where it is described as "That God-Damned Particle!" due to it being so hard to find, the editor changed it to god particle.
