In this episode of my series, Creationist Arguments I'm Tired of Hearing, I broaden my focus beyond the theory of evolution and examine one of the most well-worn arguments for the existence of God: the argument from first cause, or the cosmological argument.

I find it amazing to hear the desperation in Craig's voice when he asserts each step of this argument.  It's like he is panicking at the thought that no one is buying it, and realizing that he can't buy it himself.  Excellent rebuttal!  Brings up every point I try to make when dealing with the cosmological argument, although I've never met a theist who can actually state it properly - the just say universe started, MUST have been Yahweh.

For many, that's all the argument they need. "The universe exists, therefore the specific god I believe in must also exist" sounds like airtight logic when you've been taught to think in church.
