Jon Stewart took on the Gulf Coast oil spill last night mocking everyone in sight for the coverage and reaction to the disaster. The Media, for their coverage and blatant comparisons to Katrina, and BP, for their failure to take responsibility, were obvious targets. But the major jabs were taken at the hypocritical politicians who denied their previous, pro-drilling stance.

Cutting to a collection of countless politicians touting the safety of off-shore drilling, Stewart compared them to "scientists in the first reel of a disaster movie."

But perhaps the highlights of the segment came when Stewart sang a couple ditties from his Broadway show, "Jon Stewart Presents The 'West Side Story' Oil Spill Parody Songbook."
