SourceFed Misleads Viewers Regarding Richard Dawkins

When Philip DeFranco's news channel, SourceFed, reported on an incident regarding Professor Richard Dawkins at an airport terminal in Edinburgh, their reporting was very misleading, especially given that their source came across as more of a gossip column instead of a report. Regardless of whether they were trying to be comical, they were factually erroneous in several aspects which I discuss in this video.

My understanding is that he appealed to a niche and it is largely after his time (real or fictional) that poseurs took the brand and ran with it. As a gentile, I'm not really expected to hold the same stiff standards which Jesus preached, now am I?

The problem is that Jesus said alot of nice sounding things but gave no real explanation on them. This would be like a pilot telling you that the way to land a plane is by aligning the 3 wheels with the ground at slow speeds. Technically true but absolutely no use if you ever find yourself having to land a plane.

This is why i find Jesus so lacking as a moral role model . Yes he said a number of nice things but when you dig deeper their is no real substance behind them. He does not tell you how to increase your compassion for one another, he simply demands you be compassionate or go to hell.

Buddha on the other hand not only said nice things but outlined many ways to achieve them through lifestyle, meditation and thought exercises .

The problem is that Jesus said alot of nice sounding things but gave no real explanation on them.

And this is a major problem given both that moral considerations will not all remain constant, and current standards are likely flawed. Without reason to moderate out ethics, 'morality' is as much a tool of tyranny as it is benevolence.

I feel I should add that I wouldn't ignore helpful or wise things "Jesus" said just because he allegedly said them.  I appreciate some of his lessons about, for instance, forgiveness, greed, and humility.  I am highly unlikely, however, to study the Bible to improve myself.

I am subscribed to them both ^_^, so if source fed can cut some truth out of the incident, what else have they cut out in their videos ?
