What they don't seem to get, is that it's a civil rights issue. Without civil rights, woman and people of color would not be in the position they are in this "blessed" country. Sorry NY, you're on my s-list now.

Woah now Robert, please don't stigmatize the state of NY based on a minute and a half video of a fraction of a percent of the populations views. I am willing to wager New York is a lot more progressive than its surrounding states.

 

The blatant truth about this issue is that if you're not gay and not overly sympathetic no one really cares or is concerned with the rights to homosexual marriage. Clearly everyone filmed in this video was highly religious

Don't worry Kris I was just being melodramatic. I actually like the state! My dad lives in Buffalo. Hopefully the legislature will do the right thing. We shall see.

Gay men and women should be afforded all the rights that heterosexuals enjoy. I live in a 3rd world country and gay couples can get married here. My answer to the original question is hell yes!
