This changed my perception on so many things, It's so Utopian though. Unfortunately and this is not bigotry speaking here, the only force that can bring down religion is death. Religion will always be an enemy to empathy, it is far more divisive than race, and the country you belong to.

When you have a religious belief so powerful that it allows its followers to suspend critical thinking, suppress and deny evidence, and engage endlessly in self deceit that religious belief will literally be taken to the grave. I have spent many nights pondering how to best religion for the betterment of mankind and I was troubled by the thoughts it lead me to. I am not saying I wish the religious to die, or would ever seek about a means to expedite that process but there is no other way to free their minds, and thus no other way to advance mankind.

Once secular society grasps the concept of openly promoting secular Governance over superstitious mumbo jumbo amongst wethepeople is established an empathic civilization will truly flourish. All we have to do is embrace it openly and publicly. Now is the time.
