If 'God' is listening, what else would he/she/it 'shut up'? I expect that if Pat was asked, 'which of God's laws are humans in violation of, that would cause him to cause a drought?' we might get him to sputter a little before he starts being remotely coherent.

Sadly, droughts can affect anyone and everyone. Maybe Pat does not buy is own grocerys?

If 'God' can bypass everyone else, but Pat, surely Pat might have yet again one more reason to be concerned?

Pat Robertson, like all TV evangelist are usurping the gospel by turning it into a multi-million dollar enterprise. He is no more ordained than any other CEO of a corporation to speak on behalf of Eternal Purpose.

But Isaac turned away from Miami at the last minute and changed course for New Orleans - don't you know he's going to say that's a sign?

As to the reason for the drought, I suspect that some of you out there haven't been stoning your children - you know who you are --
