I've been working VERY slowly and carefully on deconverting a very dear friend from my childhood. For instance, recently he tentatively asked something like, "wouldn't society's moral basis disappear without religion?". In response I sent him a study showing how animals are often entirely selfless without obvious reason - showing, I believe, that's it's natural to be helpful and cooperative. I've avoided bombarding him with the thousands of articles, videos, etc. available on this site. (Soon.) This video, however, fits the bill for my first unsolicited submission to him. Thanks.

You should send him the brief video below - it really is an amazing piece by Carl Sagan and constructed by NASA I believe....please check it out yourself! It is amazing..
