Oh yes they are indeed crazy.  However is it crazy that I can see faces there too?  Nope, not at all.  As humans we have deveolped the ability to recognise faces and face-like shapes very easily, it doesn't mean they are Cheezus or a woman who lied about an affair to her husband.  Of course I'm fairly sure most people here already new that...

This is absolutely hilarious and yet pitiful. Just goes to show you that religious beliefs are based on superstitions. How is this ever a newsworthy story? It's just filler, and it's sometimes funny to laugh at people with crazy beliefs.

Religion is the only force in society that can cause a perfectly rational human being to truly believe they see their deity in mundane objects. They even have a shrine around that concrete slab.

The human brain is very "tuned" for recognizing faces, and hence we see them in many random patters. I always find it rather odd that god-botherers see his face/name/whatever in a pattern of tomato seeds, or a piece of toast and are filled with wonder. It several far away galxies were rearranged to show a picture or spell something out, I'd be pretty wowed by that, but really, a piece of toast or a concrete slab. That's a really low-level god sort of behaviour :-)
