The USA is arguably the most religious democracy in the western world, while Denmark is arguably the least. Will the situation remain this way? Will Denmark stay relatively irreligious, or will religion start to grow stronger in the years ahead? This lecture argues that Danes will remain secular in the years ahead, and perhaps even come to see religion as part of the problem in the world – the USA included – rather than part of the solution.
