I thought the male speaker had very good points, and he made them well without ranting... however, it is very sad to hear about the girl and why she was married to a rapist

Maybe they should have a good ole southern "shotgun" wedding..and since I'm not a sexist, you can point the gun at the male or female.  However I do draw the line at child abuse.

Whatever happened to the poor young woman in Afghanistan who is imprisoned, but agreed to marry her rapist to be freed? We have misogynists in the GOP, who think the 12th century was nifty-swifty.

Unseen... the point to quoting those passages no one takes seriously any more is to cause cognitive dissonance in the minds of those who think the bible is a glorious sacred book.  "Your sacred book contains these utterly ridiculous things... are you sure it's really the word of god?"
