Comment by Dale Headley on October 9, 2011 at 9:39pm Great video. It shows how the scientific method is the best way to reach the truth. But it won't make one bit of difference in people's paranormal beliefs. Pitting empirical evidence up against people's delusions will usually result in them rejecting even the most irrefutable evidence. Many people have accepted James Randi's million dollar challenge. Every one of them failed completely to demonstrate any extraordinary abilities. And yet, nearly all of them, afterwards, still claimed to have faith in their powers. It is instructive to note that NONE of the best known paranormalists in the world - Uri Geller, John Edward, etc. - have accepted Randi's challenge. Why? Because they KNOW they are fakes and would NEVER risk public disclosure of that fact.

Comment by Bryan B on October 10, 2011 at 2:01am Education is the tool that will put an end to this fraud that takes advantage of grief and other types psychological suffering. I really find it despicable to be honest. Spread videos like this, its important.
Comment by Suzanne Olson-Hyde on October 10, 2011 at 7:43am Saw it. Pathetic. As an Australian, I am truly sorry that we have these loony tunes, on public TV.
We also have astrologers on TV, and different psychics on different shows. It is really sad that 1. These frauds are peddled as fact
2. They come from frigging Australia. I am so sorry.
Comment by Ed on October 10, 2011 at 9:35am This rivals the paranormal 'haint' shows on American TV. Where is that swamp land when you need it?
