To be fair, some of us actually DO want to end religion. Hitchens claims he would not "deconvert" the last believer, if he had the power. I would.

I DO wish the churches, and the mosques, and the temples empty.

...but that may just be me.

Don't get me wrong I would love for religion to end as well. I think the video is more focused on the way we go about it. As an ex-catholic when I used to talk to my atheist friends I would always feel like they were just trying to show how intellectually superior they were (which they were). It never really came across that these people might actually care about me. I think it automatically shuts most theist down to any new ideas when they are in debate and defend mode. It's just something that I think I need to do a better job of. For me it's more about the person than the religion…if we can just get every person…then religion is gone! ;P
