Parts of this are in Bill Maher's movie, "Religulous". Seeing the whole thing makes me think the Mormon beliefs are even more whackadoo than I originally thought!

Does this mean that Mormons were the first to believe in space aliens? Wow. They were way ahead of their time.

I'm confused about the origin of black people though . . .

. . . I read the first chapter of the Book of Mormon once because it was in the night stand in our hotel room, in Brian Head, Utah. As I recall, it claimed that the descendants of Cain inherited black skin as a curse passed onto them because of Cain's murder of his brother Abel.

But this cartoon claims that those space aliens who didn't side with Jesus OR with Satan were cursed with black skin . . . and THAT was before they ever came to Earth!?!

I know that the Mormon church has officially rejected/denied the notion that black people are descended from Cain . . . but have they also rejected the space alien explanation too (assuming it's a true Mormon story, that is)?

The thing about Mormonism is that their rules, practices and beliefs are always being rearranged depending on the leader ship of the council. I am not thoroughly educated on Mormonism but some of my relatives are and I have herd a lot about Mormons through them. Their is a lot about Mormonism that is kept secret (probably because their belief lacks proper structure) and I have herd strange stories about their main temple that is located in Utah.

I'm sorry. I must admit that I wasted all my energy laughing hysterically at this and didn't bother to ponder any of it. Damn, that's funny. XD

I think it was Aristotle who said: There is no idea, so absurd, that someone won't believe it.

I'm gonna start me a religion. It doesn't look to hard, actually. Mine's gonna be really good, I think. I'm going to incorporate man-thongs in there somewhere.
