I would submit one of the many videos that show that Condell has used generalizations as well as been factually incorrect, but I've no idea how to post a video like you've done. :)

Pooka, So easy to post youtube videos... Just push the embed tab under the youtube video you want to post, then highlight and copy the code that pops up. Come back to T/A Videos and open the tab that says 'post videos' and paste the code where it says to. Then press post video and complete by adding title and description. Post again - Ta-Da, mission accomplished.

But what are the reasons that you find fault with Condell? I guess he is someone that one either loves or hates. I'm a lover...

Heh heh, thanks. I sort of figured that out through bumbling trial and error. I actually posted two of the videos I did on Condell a bit ago just now.

He has allowed himself to be set up as an icon on YT. He may claim he had "nothing to do with that", but not taking action against it is an action in and of itself.

So if he won't live up to the standard of skepticism and examination of that facts that many atheists require; is it any surprise that people are now upset with his refusal to address the errors he's made?

Not aware of his errors... Clue me in.

His statements on the downtown Mosque are inaccurate. His rhetoric suggested that it was being built on the site. He also made it sound as if it will be a MOSQUE when it will be a community center with a Mosque in it. It will have a weight room, swimming pool, etc... and it will be open to all. He also made the claim it was opening on this anniversary of 9/11.

He basically stuck his foot into a situation he has no understanding of. I did a video on this (Facts or GTFO) which deals with some of the claims he and others made. Claims I fact checked meticulously, even contacting reporters by phone.

The claims he made can be tracked back to a reporter who made those parts of the story up. She's a notorious supporter of the Tea Party people and similar movements.

Each to his or her own... If Pat said things that were untrue and weren't well researched, he should have admitted he made these errors, even if his overall opinion of this Community Center/Mosque being built near ground zero remained the same. The situation with Muslims in England and in western Europe is very different than what we are experiencing with most Muslims here in the U.S., but I do think we need to take a careful look at the issues in order to prevent them from getting a foot-hold over here.
