Brave, and very carefully pitched. Good on him! I guess he figured he's already got the religious right against him. Hopefully this is but the first part of a stand against the more hateful elements in the US.

I love how when he talks about the religious or the faithful he uses the word "they" and not "we."

Too bad we haven't heard any of these types of speeches since he was elected president (I know he's not president in this vid because he's not wearing the presidential pin on his lapel). I think he has a good head on his shoulders. I'd like to see him take the 'In God We Trust' off our currency, too.
