He is either an incomprehensibly stupid person, which I don't believe given the older videos of interviews I have seen with him, or he is deliberately lying.

I am extremely positive that he is, he is using the fact that most of his viewers are barely educated, extremely religious people to whom he just says what they want to hear. He is using this of course to get a bigger viewership and thus make more money. There are few people I despise as much as him.

How could you possibly love a mans show who consistently lies and misrepresents current events? Bill O'Reilly is the charlatan of charlatans. He is not only ignorant 'on science' as you say, he is ignorant in regards to history, politics, and current events as well. The man is an insult to journalism and his 'no spin zone' is a slap in the face of the truth.
