Hey Nessrriinn,

The suffering and imprisonment of religions you so aplty described and illustrated in this video is the very thing that has inspired my interest in deconversion. Were you Shia? You mentioned Iran in your video and my family has connections there. Anyway, it was a truly beautiful video, the best I've seen. Bravo.

If it is okay with you I've linked it into my website at

Every day you show your face in public, is a victory against barbarism.

@Arch, enjoy some intrepid words:

... Haram!

Islam was the Truth … It wasn’t just a religion, it was a way of life  … that Islam was the one … true path.

... I was molding the Koran into something it wasn’t …

It was like walking on broken glass, every single step I took was painful, but if I was ever to reach smooth ground I had to keep going ...

... I believed in equal rights for everyone, everywhere.

As painful as it was, my heart still breaks thinking of my family living in fear, or that they feel guilty every time they miss a prayer,

It ... breaks ... my ... heart to think they let one moment of this life pass them by …

... somehow Allah will make it up to them in the afterlife.

As painful as it was losing my religion, its spectacular how sweeter life became.

... His [God’s] only retribution is that he does not exist.

And my retribution is, that I do!

Dang, that was good, Arch. You're a bolt of lightning.

I have total auditory recall, can leap tall buildings in a single bound and have x-ray vision. Yes, she has mastered the art of writing, public speaking and public relations. She's good, imo. I am, of course, a little biased as some of her idioms sound so much like some of mine, you know, the one, true God, equal rights, everywhere, etc. on top of some really clever ones I've never heard before, which is most of them, obviously. I digress.

The speaker has an eloquent and pretty voice, which also helps.
