I think it's a mixture of the Python perversion and artistic expression. We the viewers are free to interpret that scene however we like. I personally think it speaks a lot to the human experience of being born into the world and gaining knowledge. In a way that piece, to me, is like human understanding being born into a digital representation of our universe through the birthing channel that we humans follow, then the song itself shows how far we, an insignificant and yet spectacular species, have come in our knowledge of the universe. But, like I said, that's kind of my take on it.

BTW, they are making a Tron sequel. The trailer looks pretty sweet!
