Saw someone referring to W.L. Craig's recent defense of biblical infanticide.
Can't find if she made something so unfathomably sick up in her own head, she was a Camping cruiser or followed some other end-time dumb ass with a messiah complex.
Comment by Atwas911 on May 21, 2011 at 10:05am I'm really to the point that I don't know what to feel anymore when presented with things such as this.. I fear i'm becoming desensitized to the stupidity of the religiously infected and nothing they can say or do can truly shock or amaze me anymore.
"Ah yes.. a religious person causing death and destruction.. What else is new.." Ya know?
The part that I find most disturbing is that I cant decide (from a logical point of view) weather i'm happy or sad that she failed. You can't help but to feel bad for the innocent children, abuse to a child is horrible no matter what the direct cause of it is, but those feeling are quickly combated by the knowledge that children of nut-job uber-religious parents often (if not the majority of the time) turn into nut-job uber-religious parents themselves.
So I guess the only hope of any good coming from this situations is that if it becomes a horrific learning experience for these children on the true horror and abomination against humanity that religion is and serve as a means of breaking the chain.
But hopes of that are quickly diminished by knowing that they will most likely be placed into christian foster care where they will be explained that although their mother loved them, she was possessed by the dark lord or some other type of non-sense story that is going to cause more long-term damage to their already delicate mental conditions. Can we says "YAY!" for their future husbands and children..?
So yeah.. I'm not sure how i feel about it all.

Comment by Lynn Lovell on May 21, 2011 at 1:37pm lock her up- throw away the key-and get the kids some secular counseling ASAP.
parental rights should be terminated.
And, once again, people divert the discussion from the fundamental role of her belief in god and her religious beliefs to her mental problems and the fact that she needed help.
