Ohhhhhhh, why, why, why do so very many white, male ( and a couple of females for that matter ) middle aged, American politicians come across as just SO very, very stupid ? I make no distinction here between your two non-choices of republican or democrat. I know we have stupid in our respective countries, just as we have dogmatic, bigoted and misogynistic but America seems to have excelled at it in the last twenty years to a degree that is bringing you to the borders of Taliban bat-crap-crazy ( I cite the current war on women in the US as evidence). My eleven year old points out the logical inconsistencies of the arguments of the likes of poor mentally retarded child Mitt so I can only assume that big business money buys enough brainwashing to trump common sense.
