This is super crazy guys. its already getting out of hand. What's next public lenchings as long as the culprit feels and truly believes he/she is a superior to the victim. This needs to stop! Instead of moving forward from the days of religious persecution we're going right back to them.

I have posted and reposted this to my facebook page, and will continue to do so. It absolutely sickens me that such a blatant law allowing discrimination toward gays and others who aren't Christian or who are "different" was even proposed! This senator is obviously very shaken by this and I am proud of her strong words against it. We have got to stop religion from ruining our country once and for all!

The dumbest thing about this is this is a gateway to allow further abuse and bullying in other forms. We will be paying for this for generations to come. These laws will morph into commands for religion to be used as a weapon more than it is already (pakistan/ isreal conflicts, the "war on terrorism is completely fueled by religious reasons")

Like it was god who led the kkk to burning crosses in african american front yards and god also tells these creepers they're superior beings so its okay. Man I tell ya I can't wait to leave this state and hopefully this country I'm over it

Laws like this come dangerously close to the First Amendment.  Talking is not bullying unless you are making a direct threat yourself. 

That's a lot different than your claim.

Just limiting speech that may offend someone isn't Constitutional and it shouldn't be.  Christians tell me I'm going to Hell all the time.  Personally I find that funny.  If you don't, then you need to examine why.

I don't have a problem with someone saying something they really believe like that.  They ought to be able to .  That's what freedom is.

@ Godless Conservative - A child at school has limited rights.  As adults we have the right to use swear words, racial slurs, sexual language, etc.. where a child in school would not.  If a child wishes to pray, read his bible, etc during breaks he is free to do so, but it's ridiculous to allow his religious rights to extend into bullying.  As the old saying goes "Your right to swing your arms ends just before my nose"
