What happen to Lot's Son-in-laws? We are not told what they did. They could have taken another road out of the city? It's funny that Lot did not notice when his daughters laid down or awoke, but Lot's penis did?

@ George Sterpka - There weren't any sons-in-law. At least not as far as I recall. Lot would not have been in a position to "offer" his daughters to the crowds of men and boys the bible claims gathered outside Lot's house looking for the men he had given refuge, so they could "know them" if they'd had husbands. Because in biblical times that would have meant that they were the "property" of their husbands and no longer the "property" of their father.

Likewise in Genesis 19:15 it says: "And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city."

And we all remember what happened to Lot's wife -- which is what opened the door for the sexy times with his daughters. On the other hand he never had to run out and buy salt again either. So it seems Yahweh just wanted to get his freak-on and so he wrote this scene into his little book probably in the hopes that they'd teach it in Sunday School forever and ever so he could watch all the kids snicker and laugh. But alas, it was not to be. They won't touch this one even in adult bible classes.

George, Genesis 19:14 states, "14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law."

@ Cat - Good catch! So it would seem that they thought he was kidding. Whoops!
