Living With Hunger: George from Austin

George lost his home 16 months ago after a series of debilitating accidents left him unable to maintain his small business. He is a jubilant and hopeful man, eagerly expecting the best out of his future. This father of two invites Feeding America into his current home – his trusty car – to share his life with us.

So many Americans are in this situation, or if they're not in it, they're on their way. I've had to ask my parents recently to take the title to my house so that I don't lose it. I've only been in it 3 years, but since the job market has turned down in my town there is no way for me to pay my bills. From 20 to 80, people all over the country are feeling the effects of the "circumstances".
