Hello from, of all places, Indonesia. Yes I'm living in this absurdly backwards, Islamic, garbage dump called Jakarta. It is very difficult to find atheists here as you can well imagine. There are those in university who like to fashionably refer to themselves as "Humanists" which is a step in the right direction. The religiously dominated throngs of nincompoops in this heavily corrupt, Middle East themed costume party have let their archaic religion, hobble what could be a very lucrative society. Anyways, sorry for my short rant, but there are few here who are willing to publicly acknowledge their atheistic views, let alone criticize Islam, so it is good to occasionally vent......

Ah-yes, and land of the Barbour clan, or should that be the Barbour Klan?  Welcome to this warm place for non-believers and speaking, I am certain for all, we're happy you're here.  Maybe one day we'll achieve critical mass and the whole nation will know we're he and tired as hell of all the holy-roller doG bull shit.

Hey out there. Are there any atheists in the Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA area?

It seems to me that people with brains that function as minds in America today are getting harder to find all the time.  Texas and SC are probably on a par but the Denton Atheist Meet-Up Group have a good day @ Banters at our Not Raptured Party and we were disappointed we didn't become the Left Alone and did not have the opportunity for some post-rapture looting; sigh :-(

Any atheists in SW Missouri or NW Arkansas? Call me a reactionary, but people we are under seige. The Tea Party is the Nazi Regime with a new face. They talk about "Real Americans," and returning this country to its former greatness. It's laughable now, but if the snowball picks up speed it will be hard to stop. I used to be tolerant of diverse views believing people should be allowed to practice their own beliefs. I've changed - I now view religious people as the enemy. It's them or me.
