I would have loved to hear Pierce push Joel on things like slavery and raping women and children in the Bible, but that would never happen (since Pierce is a practicing Catholic). 

 

It might have been somewhat reasonable, however, for him to ask what part of the Bible does support his homophobia.  Better still, ask what Jesus had to say about the topic (hint: nothing).
