When I was religious I never understood why having an image of someone on your food meant anything to anyone. Blind leading the ever more blind.

"It got burned". I think that kinda covers it.  If God/Jesus is the all powerful being that many people claim he is, why the hell would he want to appear on someones tortilla. Why not just appear in person. Some peoples gullibility knows no limits.

When I lived in Utah someone said there was an image of Mary in an old tree and it was seeping sap from where the heart would be. I went to see it, I stood on line for at least 20 min then climbed a ramp, on the way up we were all told over and over what we were about to see, by the time I got to it I was amazed, it looked just like the picture of the virgin of Guadeloupe with liquid coming from her heart.

But I swear had it not been for the indoctrination on the way up it would have looked like a bump on a tree
