I can just feel the evil radiating off of her, even through the internet. then again, the internet itself is mostly the devil's tool, so maybe that's what I'm sensing.

People shouldn't write off teens as easily as they do. Ms. Ahlquist serves as a shining example of that which they are capable. People sometimes refer to the 'temerity of youth', but I think youth has less to do with it than we sometimes assume. In this particular case, we have a sixteen-year-old girl outclassing (by far) a middle-aged state representative.

Yes, I'm proud of her courage. It has become so common for many fear-mongerers to demonize anyone who stands up for justice. Also, it's SAD that so many of her alleged peers have such a pitiful understanding of the English language. Terrible.

Lately it seems there's more official idiots who fear-monger. The Indiana state representative who took his daughter out of Girl Scouts because he believes the organization promotes feminism, communism, and Planned Parenthood.  In Georgia, the Crackers for Christ will try to take the whole state back to Tobacco Road.

Hopefully in 15- 20 years we will be addressing her as Congressman Ahlquist.... or Senator Ahlquist... or Secretary Ahlquist.    I hear many have donated to her college fund.  She's on the right path.

This girl is just awesome. Her maturity and intelligence and just the way she carries herself is just amazing. She is going to go places. I'm wishing her the very best in whatever she does and whatever she achieves. We might even be looking at the next Hitchens.

This girl is just amazing. Eloquent, calm, reasonable and mature. Go Jessica.
